Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment which works with the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

It supports the unwinding and releasing of deep patterns held in the body caused by stress, trauma, accidents and that can manifest as migraines, anxiety, physical pain and much more.

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, yet profound and powerful hands-on therapy which identifies tensions held in the body.

It supports the nervous system to regulate the body's natural tendency to find health and optimum balance, by relieving the body of its tensions and restrictions.

Because Craniosacral Therapy  is a non manipulative therapy, it is suitable for anyone from new born babies to the elderly.

CST is such a gentle and non-invasive treatment for babies who experience various issues such as feeding difficulties, colic and sleep problems, those from problem-free births as well as babies from traumatic births.

What to expect from a treatment?

After a thorough case history at the first consultation you will then lie down fully clothed on the therapy table.

The therapist usually starts at the feet before working in different places depending on what is happening for the client.  I may take up a contact somewhere under your spine, and/or under your sacrum.  I may also work at your cranium.

Some gentle fascial unwinding might unfold if that feels appropriate for your system.

After a session, you may feel deeply relaxed and  even a bit sleepy or perhaps quite refreshed and energised depending on what your system needed from the treatment.
Drinking plenty of water after a treatment is recommended to rid the body of any released toxins.
